Founder & President
Matt Davis has over 14 years’ experience in operations, logistics, purchasing, and sales in the film and television industry. His proven track record includes over $85MM in gross career sales in the building supply and equipment rental industries.
Since 2006, Matt has built a network and an in-depth knowledge of the industry. Known in Atlanta for his adept ability to provide urgent solutions for high-demand productions, Matt has earned the trust of coordinators and purchasing agents while servicing over 1,600 productions including Hunger Games, Fast & Furious, Jumanji, Black Panther and others. Matt’s natural ability to connect with customers and meet their demanding schedules has earned him a strong reputation for superior customer service. Looking to challenge himself further, Matt joined United Rentals in 2018 where he helped grow entertainment revenue drastically year-over-year. A testament to Matt’s unparalleled commitment to customer service, he has formed loyal relationships with both above-the-line and below-the-line employees of Sony, Fox, Netflix, Disney, and more. Matt’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start Reel Supplies in 2021 with the goal of creating the most customer service based supply house in Atlanta driven on expediency and order accuracy at a competitive price. Understanding the value of experience in the Film and TV industry, Matt has assembled an incredible staff that is dedicated to exceptional customer service.
Jamie Davis is a highly motivated sales & people leader with experience in consumer-packaged goods sales, management, marketing, operations, strategic planning, and project management. Jamie has a proven track record of significant contributions to sales growth, market share, and productivity targets. She has a talent for establishing strong relationships with customers, internal key decision makers, and cross functional teams.
Jamie started her career in 2005 at Frito Lay, a Division of PepsiCo, where she excelled quickly over her 15-year tenure. Her most recent position, as the Director of Sales for Small Format business for the Southeast Region; she supplied $890 MM in sales annually & increased sales over prior year by 5%. Jamie coached and led a team of 7 exceptionally talented key account managers supporting four market channels: Dollar, Drug, Convenient store, and Small Grocery Business, that encompassed over 43,000 customers, across 5 states. She was the liaison between Headquarters Brand Teams, National Account Teams, Small Format, Commercialization Team, by streamlining relevant communication to our Region Business Team & 16 Zone Sales Teams. Jamie was responsible for creating the strategic vision and plans for the Southeast Region Small Format annual operating plans increasing savory share by 1%. She developed strong partnerships with top retailers through our Joint Business Planning process. One of her biggest successes was rolling out one of the largest Go To Market delivery/customer change in Frito Lay North America history.
Jamie has a wealth of knowledge creating strategic plans by partnering with both, the customer and internal teams, to insure a successful joint business plan. She has strong communication skills to convey information and execution plans by collaborating with cross functional teams and Sr. Leaders of the organization. Jamie has high energy to lead, support, and manage a team to deliver better than plan results. She has a passion to oversee projects from ideation to implementation to ensure effective and timely execution.
Jess Forrester is a leader in the Atlanta film industry supply side, with a background in Operations. Jess has over 23 years of experience in the Atlanta market in various roles of increasing responsibility. He is a proven team builder and is known for inspiring outstanding customer service as well as operational excellence.
Jess joined Herc Rentals in 1999. In 2011, Jess launched Herc Entertainment Services in Atlanta. Starting with a small staff and nearly non-existent market share, Jess and his team grew the business to over $18 million a year with over 25 employees, while being one of the most profitable entities under the Herc Rentals umbrella. Herc Entertainment quickly became the undisputed leader in Atlanta for Film and Television equipment rentals. Jess was awarded the Operational MVP award for 2017 at the annual management meeting in Dallas, TX. In 2018, Jess accepted the challenge to establish United Rentals Sports and Entertainment as a leader in the Atlanta entertainment space. United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company in the world, quickly started gaining market share and building relationships with studio management teams as well as changing misconceptions surrounding servicing production customers. After nearly four years of outstanding growth for United, Jess made the decision to join the Reel Supplies team in January 2022. Attracted by the potential to do something once again that had not been done in Atlanta: a lumber supply company solely dedicated to servicing film and television customers within Atlanta and other film and TV markets.
Jess is a United States Air Force veteran with 10 years of active duty as well as a 1998 Graduate of Mount Olive College with a bachelor’s in management and organizational development. Jess enjoys his time off work spending time with his wife Ann.
Mike Boyette is a skilled sales leader who has been working in the building materials industry for nearly 4 years. Mike has experience working closely with several multimillion dollar companies at the retail and wholesale levels, with his most recent customers being Lowe’s and Home Depot. His product knowledge ranges from MDF and PB to dimensional lumber, plywood and EWP products. He works tirelessly to ensure timelines are met and quality products are delivered. Excellent customer service is a key part to Mike's success. He builds strong relationships with his customers and has an open door policy. Mike is recently married to his wife Joanne, where they reside in Atlanta, GA. Mike enjoys woodworking, cheering on his favorite sports teams and spending time with his friends and family on the weekends.
